Upper Blepharoplasty(Double Eyelids Creation)

Cosmetic eyelid surgery can create a natural fold, remove excessive fat and drooping skin of the upper eyelids. There are different methods of double eyelid surgery.

1. Buried Suture method
- Non-incisional technique.
- Using specialized materials from Japan, sutures are buried beneath the skin to create adhesion and hence folding on the upper eyelids.
- Quick recovery and no scarring.

2. Small incision method
- A small incision (6-10mm) is made and is hidden within the natural fold of the upper eyelids.
- Incision technique is performed with surgical microscopes.
- Suitable for removal of excess skin and fat.

Epicathoplasty and lateral cathoplasty

Epicathoplasty is a simple surgical procedure for removal of the mogolian fold typical among the oriental population. The result is slight elevation and opening of the medial portion of the eyes leading to a lengthened appearance. Cathoplasty is another simple surgical procedure that is used for elongating the lateral palpebral fissures.

Eyebag surgery

The appearances of eyebags are due to herniation of fat through the orbital septum and/or progressive loss of elasticity of the skin and muscle as a result of aging.

There are few methods of eyebag surgery:
1. Transconjunctival Laser Blepharoplasty
• Conjunctival approach with no skin incision
• Quick recovery time

2. Subcillary Skin Incision Blepharoplasty
• For those with excessive fat and sagging skin
• Incision is made just below the lower eye lashes
• Sutures are removed after 4 days

3. Injection method

Botox and/or Restylane dermal filler can be used to enhance the eye contour, improve skin elasticity ands reduce wrinkles.

Nose Refinement

Augmentation Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is a simple surgical procedure to enhance the appearance of your nose. The outcome of rhinoplasty varies greatly depending on the original shape of the nose, surgical methods and the type of implants. The operator’s perceived sense of beauty can also play a vital role so it is important to discuss your needs with the surgeon. The goal is to achieve an outcome that is both natural and in harmonious balance with the other facial features.

There are 2 different types of implant for augmentation rhinoplasty:
1. Silicone implants or cartilage
In many instances, the incisions will be placed inside your nostrils where they will not be visible. The surgery takes about 60 minutes and will be performed under local anesthesia.

2. Dermal filler (For details please go to aesthesic medicine)

Nostril width or nasal base reduction
It is a simple surgical procedure designed for those with wide nose or excessively flared nostrils. The base of the nose is narrowed or the nostrils are reduced by removing a small wedge of skin at the base of the nostrils. Incisions are hidden in the natural crease where the nostrils join the cheek.

Facial Contouring

Reshaping of the chin and lips

Chin augmentation can be achieved by either surgical implantation or injection of a dermal filler. The incisions are placed inside your mouth and will not be visible. Fullness of the lips can be enhanced by injecting a dermal filler, e.g. Restylane Lipp, or by fat grafting.

Endoscopic Mini-invasive Facelifting

A facelift smoothes loose skin on the face and neck, tightens underlying tissues and removes excess fat. The results may be dramatic or subtle, depending on the patient’s appearance before surgery and the goals that she and her doctor want to achieve.

Most facelift incisions are placed within the hairline and behind the ear. With the latest technology, facelifting can now be performed under laparoscopic assistance, which is much less invasive than the traditional facelifting method. In addition, the new SurgiWire Incisionless Dissector procedure quickly releases deep wrinkles and scars by separating connections to underlying tissues. This method greatly minimizes post surgical edema and bruising, leading to a speedy recovery.

Autologus Microfat Grafting

Autologus Microfat Grafting, also called fat injection, is a procedure in which an individual's own excess body fat (such as that found in the jowls, abdomen, thighs, or buttocks), is used to rejuvenate emaciated areas of the face or to add volume where desired. The word "autologous" simply refers to the use of one's own tissues or fat.

New techniques of Autologus Microfat Grafting have been developed in recent years, ensuring a better survival rate of grafted fat cells and hence better results. These include:

1. The bodyfat is removed with very gentle, low-vacuum liposuction. The fat cells are then centrifuged, purified, and then re-inserted throughout the tissues for grafting so each fat cell will have a good blood supply.

2.The fat cells from your own body can be used to enhance fullness of the cheeks and lips, or to augment the breasts or the buttocks. Because it is tissue from your own body and no allergic reaction will be involved.

3. Recent changes in technique of harvesting and injection, by using a specially designed small bore harvesting and infiltation cannulas, can protect the living fat cells. With this minimally invasive technique, the patient's face can be reshaped without the prolonged downtime associated with the more invasive techniques.

4.Human adipose tissue is a source of multipotent stem cells. These cells have shown the ability to improve long-term fat graft retention by secreting key growth factors that enhance blood vessel formation and promote cell survival. A  procedure that combine of fat cells and autologus stem cells ,known as "Autologus cell enriched fat grafting", have be shown a higher potential for graft acceptance and retention than traditional fat grafting procedures, along with reduced swelling and bruising in the donor sites. Besides, stem cells can promote better skin tissue regeneration and healing, giving a long-lasting double benefits for facial rejuvenation.
